design, create and deliver considered, responsive & contextual architecture; buildings, places & communities for all.

Operating as a visitor attraction from the 1970’s until its closure in the early 1990s, the site has been vacant for over 25 years.

It is bounded to the north by a traditional Cornish stone wall and lies within a conservation area.

Following a change of use to residential, the proposals are for a newbuild four bedroom detached contemporary family dwelling that is sympathetic in scale and design to its context as well as using some traditional local materials and detailing combined with a cantilevered zinc standing seam roof.

The project commenced on site in February 2021 and is due for completion later in the year.
