Two New Detached Family Homes

Two contemporary 4-bedroom family houses on the site accessed from the main road to the rear of a large detached property.
The form of each dwelling is split into two elements, responding to the sloping topography of the site and the surrounding context. The site is established with a number of mature trees from which the new dwellings take their cues with a palette of natural materials. The pitched roof element reflects the form and orientation of the surrounding buildings. The flat roof section is significantly lower and steps down in response to the landscape, creating a respectful relationship to the neighbouring boundary.
Having been granted planning permission the project is now on site and due for completion in Spring 2024.
