Small Residential Extension
We enjoy working with engaged clients and projects with limited construction budgets.
The brief required the works on site to be completed extremely quickly; the concrete base has to be formed in situ, but the timber framed panel construction of walls and roof will however be made off-site, then erected and made waterproof within a few days.
Walls are clad in vertical rough sawn timber externally and beech face plywood internally. The sloping flat roof (to keep the eaves low to boundary fences) is covered in sedum and uses a chain as a rainwater downpipe.
A pre-app planning application was positive and detailed planning consent is expected early in 2021.
