Dune House : July-August 2021

With significant momentum through the summer months the build has come a long way since our last blog in March.

A full practice site visit in early June was implemented to enable all the team to engage with the build and to be able to appreciate the high level of detailing and construction in practice as well as discuss elements with the contracting team.

Early discussions at technical workstage regarding the setting out of the primary elements has enabled a highly complex building to read relatively simplistically with junctions between glazing and main walls and balconies seamlessly translating this.

The high quality materials are starting to show and the internal spaces are now fully formed and plastered with some second fix underway in areas.

Completion later this year is staring to become an exciting reality.
